NCDC Executive Director applauds APC re-electing NWC and Hon. Rijau’s return as North Central VC
The Executive Director of Finance at the North Central Development Commission (NCDC), Prof. Muhammad Bashar Nuhu Tachi, congratulated members of the National Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), led by Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on their re-election during the recently held North Central and national conventions.
In a congratulatory message he signed himself, Prof. Nuhu Tachi, who served on the Protocol Committee of the Convention Planning Committee, described the event as peaceful, transparent, and a strong display of unity within the party.
He specifically congratulated the North Central Vice Chairman, Hon. Mu’azu Bawa Rijau, on his re-election, noting that his return indicates the confidence and trust party stakeholders have placed in him.
“The consensus-driven process clearly underscores the unity and collective resolve of members of our great party to move forward together,” he stated.
The NCDC Executive Director also pointed out that both he and Hon. Bawa Rijau are from Niger State, which he called a source of pride and a sign of the state’s ongoing importance in national politics.
“The re-election of Hon. Mu’azu Bawa Rijau is not only well deserved but also a proof of Niger State’s growing influence within the party’s national structure,” Prof. Nuhu Tachi said.
According to him, the successful conduct of the conventions has strengthened internal unity and positioned the APC for more political stability in upcoming engagements.
He praised party leaders, delegates, and members for their discipline and dedication to ensuring a smooth and credible process, which, he said, has boosted confidence among members nationwide.
Prof. Nuhu Tachi also commended the APC leadership for creating an environment conducive to consensus-building and seamless conduct of the exercise.
He expressed hope that the re-elected National Executive Committee would continue offering purposeful leadership and effectively advance the party’s vision for national development.
The NCDC Executive Director reiterated his commitment to supporting the party and collaborating with its leaders to foster unity, development, and sustainable progress, especially in the North Central region.
He called on the leadership to stay focused and uphold principles of good governance to justify the trust placed in them by party members and Nigerians.
