Niger State gov’t Engages in Diplomatic Partnerships with Qatar Charity Organization and Saudi Arabia
Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, recently met with officials from Qatar Charity Organization at their Abuja office.
The purpose of the meeting was to explore potential collaborations in humanitarian and developmental initiatives.
Governor Bago, on a familiarisation visit, expressed his administration’s willingness to partner with the NGO, reaffirming his commitment to enhancing the welfare of the state’s residents.
Qatar Charity is a prominent non-governmental organization engaged in humanitarian work across water, health, education, food security, housing, and social care sectors, aiming to combat global poverty through strategic partnerships.
Additionally, Governor Bago visited the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Abuja. During the visit, he met with the new Saudi Ambassador to Nigeria, Yousef bin Mohammed Al-Balawi, extending his congratulations on his appointment.
He reiterated his administration’s dedication to strengthening and maintaining the longstanding positive relations with Saudi Arabia, emphasizing their importance for the state’s growth and development.
The governor also praised Saudi Arabia for its ongoing support to Niger State.
