Engineer Farouk Umaru Audi Celebrates Women on International Women’s Day

The Commissioner for Niger State’s Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation Services, Engineer Farouk Umaru Audi, has warmly congratulated women across Niger State, Nigeria, and globally as they observe International Women’s Day.
In his message, the Commissioner described women as pillars of society whose dedication, resilience, and contributions continue to shape families, communities, and institutions.
He acknowledged the essential roles women play in nation-building and in developing key sectors, including water resources and public services.
Engineer Audi emphasized that the celebration provides an opportunity to recognize women’s achievements and to reaffirm a collective commitment to promoting gender equality, empowerment, and inclusion in all areas of life.
He further encouraged women to keep striving for excellence and assured that the Ministry will continue supporting initiatives that promote the welfare, participation, and advancement of women in the water and environmental sectors.
The Commissioner, therefore, wished all women a meaningful celebration and urged society to continue valuing and supporting women’s invaluable contributions to sustainable development. Happy International Women’s Day.
