Niger State Governor Umaru Bago Commits to Renewable Energy Initiatives
Niger State governor and farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago remains steadfast in his dedication to exploring alternative energy solutions for the state’s residents.
In pursuit of this goal, the farmer governor recently visited a solar farm to exchange knowledge and investigate potential partnerships.
Impressed by the facilities at the solar power installation, Farmer Umaru Bago emphasized the importance of harnessing renewable energy’s numerous benefits as a viable alternative to traditional power sources.
He has long been a proponent of integrating renewable energy in line with global best practices.
Accompanying him during the visit were the Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Usman; the Chairman of Niger Foods Security Systems and Logistics, Sammy Adigun; and Barrister Bello Bawa Bwari, Director General of the National Biosafety Management Agency.
