Flynas Airline Conducts First On-Site Assessment of Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport in Minna for 2026 Hajj Operations
The management of the Niger State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board conducted a strategic meeting on Thursday with representatives from Flynas Airline, led by Group Support Manager of Ground Operations, Mr. Ashraf Kherson Alobaidi, to discuss preparations for the 2026 Hajj seasons.
Flynas Airline has been appointed to handle the transportation of Niger State pilgrims during the upcoming Hajj.

The discussions centered on operational logistics and strategies to facilitate a seamless, efficient pilgrimage airlift.
Subsequently, the Board’s management accompanied the Flynas team to Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Airport, Minna, for an on-site assessment of key airport facilities.
The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Muhammad Shehu Usman, Airport Manager at Minna Airport under the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN). He guided them through essential facilities, including the terminal building, runway, and fuel depot.
Expressing approval of the airport’s infrastructure, Mr. Alobaidi praised the facilities and confirmed Flynas’ confidence in the airport’s capability to support smooth and effective pilgrims’ airlift operations.
Officials from the Niger State Pilgrims’ Welfare Board and FAAN assured their commitment to addressing any identified gaps during the assessment to ensure full operational readiness ahead of the 2026 Hajj.
