Niger State Commissioner of Technical Education Vows to Revive Bida Teachers College
Hon. Adamu Abdullahi Sheshi, the Niger State Commissioner of Technical and vocational Education, has pledged to restore the prestigious reputation of Bida Teachers College.
He revealed that during a courtesy visit from members of the Old Boys Association of Bida Teachers College congratulated him on his appointment as commissioner by farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago.
Hon. Sheshi emphasized the importance of using his position to persuade the governor to support infrastructure development at the school, with the goal of helping it regain its former status.
He also assured that, with God’s grace, he will attend the upcoming general meeting scheduled for March 28, 2026.
Earlier, Dr. Umar Danladi Abdulhameed Tambarin Kagara, leader of the delegation and President of Bida Teachers College Old Boys Association, stated their visit is to congratulate Hon. Sheshi on his appointment.
He added that Hon. Sheshi’s appointment aligns well with his extensive experience and knowledge in the education sector and expressed confidence that he will contribute to the New Niger Agenda of Governor Umaru Bago.
Kagara concluded by assuring ongoing prayers for Hon. Sheshi’s success in his leadership tasks.
