Permanent Secretary Transfers Leadership to New Commissioner Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation

Akilu Musa Kuta, the Permanent Secretary of the Niger State Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, officially handed over responsibilities to Engineer Faruq Umaru Audi, the newly appointed Commissioner, at the ministry’s headquarters in Minna.
The official handover document highlighted the ministry’s major accomplishments, ongoing challenges, and strategic recommendations for upcoming initiatives.
The report acknowledged significant progress in increasing access to safe drinking water despite limited resources.
In his address, Commissioner Engineer Faruq Umaru Audi pledged to work closely with engineers and sector professionals to tackle existing issues. He extended his gratitude to Niger State Governor, Senator Umaru Muhammad Bago, for the opportunity to serve.
He underscored the vital importance of providing clean water and emphasized the need for collaborative and coordinated efforts to resolve water-related challenges across the state.
