Foundation Launches AI Platform for SSCE Tutorials, Enrolls 200 Students

From Our Correspondent.

The Abosede Tomori Foundation (ATF) announced the launch of Nigeria’s first AI-powered examination prep platform, designed to provide syndicated digital learning and intelligent tutoring for senior secondary school students.

ATF`s founder, Segun Tomori, told newsmen on Saturday in Abuja that the platform was created to help students prepare for their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examinations (SSCE) and the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

He explained that the platform, developed in partnership with Study AI, aims to improve students’ access to quality study materials for their exam subjects.

He added that the initiative aligns with the foundation’s goal to increase access to quality education and promote skills development, with 200 students in Oshodi–Isolo Constituency already enrolled in the pilot program.

Tomori, also the Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Solid Minerals Development, Dele Alake, mentioned that this project follows ATF’s successful “Back to School” campaign, which distributed learning materials to schoolchildren last October.

The foundation provided school bags, exercise books, and other essentials to 300 underprivileged pupils across public primary schools in the Ejigbo and Isolo Local Council Development Areas in Lagos.

He noted that preparing for national exams remains difficult for many Nigerian students due to limited access to quality materials, outdated study techniques, and a lack of personalized academic support.

He highlighted that these barriers have contributed to the high failure rates seen in various major national exams.

“The Study AI directly addresses these gaps by offering a dynamic, curriculum-aligned digital learning environment powered by artificial intelligence.

“Through real-time corrections, adaptive study paths, gamified motivation systems, group study features, and realistic mock exams, the platform offers students a more effective and engaging way to prepare for high-stakes tests.

“It is designed for scale. Study AI aims to support hundreds of thousands of learners nationwide as it expands,” he added.

He stated that the initiative is part of the Skills Development and Scholarship scheme, one of the foundation’s five main pillars.

He expressed excitement about leading this initiative, marking a new chapter in exam prep through the use of technology, especially Artificial Intelligence.

“Study AI has developed something truly innovative and unprecedented, and we are proud to support high school students in my constituency.

“Our goal is to help them excel in their final exams and gain admission into tertiary institutions,” Tomori said.

He mentioned that the foundation will monitor students’ performance on the platform and reward top performers.

It will also address students’ needs through Study AI’s online support team and conduct mock exams to ensure students are fully prepared.

Yvonne Momah, CEO of Study AI, said the platform ushers in a new era of exam readiness for Nigerian students, emphasizing intelligent and personalized learning.

“Our mission is simple: to make high-quality education accessible, affordable, and engaging for every learner.

“With AI-driven tutoring, real-time feedback, and gamified motivation, we are creating a platform that truly understands students.

“This launch underscores our commitment to transforming exam prep and unlocking brighter futures across the country,” Momah stated.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the pilot scheme beneficiaries were selected from secondary schools in Isolo and Ejigbo LCDAs within Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II.

They will have access to the platform until their exams in 2026.
