NSUBEB Congratulates Governor Bago on Safe Return of Kidnapped Students

The Executive Chairman of the Niger State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB), Dr. Ibrahim A. Liman, on behalf of the Board, management, staff, and pupils of basic education across Niger State, has extended heartfelt congratulations to Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago and all Nigerlites on the successful and safe return of the 100 students kidnapped from St. Mary’s Catholic Primary and Secondary School in Agwara Local Government Area.
Dr. Liman commended the Governor’s relentless efforts and close collaboration with security agencies, describing his leadership as exemplary and a clear demonstration of unwavering commitment to the safety of lives and property in Niger State.
While celebrating this positive outcome, Dr. Liman mentioned that some students are still in captivity, calling for a united community effort and continued prayers to facilitate their swift rescue and safe return.
He reaffirmed the Board’s confidence in Governor Bago’s leadership and pledged ongoing support from NSUBEB to ensure the safety and well-being of all schoolchildren across the state.
