NACCIMA Unveils 2025 Business Climate Survey, Hosts Public-Private Dialogue.

The Nigerian Association of Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA) held a successful Public–Private Dialogue (PPD) on the Nigerian Business Climate, bringing together key representatives from both the private and public sectors. The event, organized by NACCIMA with support from the KVP Nigeria project, provided an essential platform for stakeholders to discuss reforms, challenges, and opportunities within the business environment.
The event began with warm remarks from Engr. (Dr.) Jani Ibrahim, OON, mni, National President of NACCIMA, and Princess Zahrah Mustapha Audu, Director-General of PEBEC. Their messages emphasized the importance of improving the ease of doing business in Nigeria and highlighted the need for evidence-based policymaking through collaboration between the public and private sectors.
The PPD included a presentation on the NACCIMA Business Climate Survey (BCS) 2025 by Dr. Vincent Nwani, offering clear insights into the current realities faced by businesses across the country. An engaging Q&A session followed, allowing participants to ask questions and share feedback based on the findings.
The DG of PEBEC also delivered a presentation on the progress of ongoing reforms, followed by another interactive Q&A session. Participants then moved into a technical session focused on closing information gaps, maintaining the Business Climate Survey as an annual tool, and proposing actionable inputs for the NACCIMA–PEBEC Joint Working Group’s work plan.
After a short break, the gathering reconvened for the presentation and adoption of the PPD Communiqué, which outlined the commitments and action points agreed upon to improve Nigeria’s business environment.
The event concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Sherif Olaleye, Project Manager of the KVP Nigeria Project, and a thank-you note from the NACCIMA Director-General, Engr. Olusola Obadimu.
