Governor Umaru Bago Extends Birthday Greetings to Dr Babangida Aliyu on His 70th.

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago congratulates former Niger State Governor, Dr Mu’azu Babangida Aliyu, as he celebrates his 70th birthday on 12 November 2025.

In a birthday message through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Bago praises Dr Babangida Aliyu, describing him as outspoken, courageous, and a role model to many.
He highlights the key contributions of the former governor to Niger State’s growth and development, and Nigeria at large, especially during his civil service career when he rose to become Permanent Secretary at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), and during his tenure as governor from 2007 to 2015.
The farmer governor notes that the positive impact of his administration remains visible and beneficial to the people.
He commends the former governor for looking beyond political party lines and supporting the current administration for the collective good of the state and its citizens.
He thanks Allah for the life of Dr Babangida Aliyu, acknowledging that reaching 70 is a significant milestone and a blessing from Allah’s favour, grace, and mercy.
He prays that Allah will continue to guide him, grant him many more years, increase his wisdom, and maintain his health so he can keep inspiring younger generations.
The farmer governor also affirms that the state government will continue to support him for his dedicated service to humanity.
