Gov. Umaru Bago Extends Condolences to Etsu Nupe Over the Demise of Sarkin Bai Nupe, Alh. Muhammad Baba Usman.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Etsu Nupe and Chairman of the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alh. Yahaya Abubakar, on the loss of Sarkin Bai Nupe, Alh. Muhammad Baba Usman, affectionately known as Alh. Ndalaga.
In a condolence message conveyed through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago characterized the passing of Sarkin Bai Nupe as a profound loss not just for the Nupe Kingdom, but for the entirety of Niger State.
He acknowledged the significant contributions made by the late Sarkin Bai Nupe in strengthening traditional institutions and preserving cultural heritage.
Governor Bago remarked that Alh. Baba Usman lived a life of exemplary character and has etched his legacy in history. He also extended prayers for Allah to forgive any shortcomings of the deceased and to grant him Aljanna Firdausi.
The governor further conveyed his hopes that the Etsu Nupe, the Bida Emirate Council, and the immediate and extended families of the late Sarkin Bai Nupe find the strength to endure this great loss.
Alh. Muhammad Baba Usman was the son of the 10th Etsu Nupe, the late Alh. Usman Sarki.
