NUJ Niger State Council Celebrates Aisha Wakaso on Her 50th Birthday.

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Niger State Council has extended heartfelt congratulations to Aisha Wakaso, Special Adviser on Print to the Niger State Governor, as she marks her fiftieth birthday.
In a congratulatory message, Comrade Usman Chiji, the State Secretary of NUJ, praised Aisha Wakaso as a mentor, motivator, and advocate for the emancipation of women and children.
He commended her for her unwavering commitment to serving humanity and for leveraging her career in journalism to enhance the well-being of vulnerable populations.
Comrade Usman specifically highlighted Aisha Wakaso’s efforts to inspire young women to pursue careers in journalism, noting the annual awards she initiated to recognize young female journalists.
He also acknowledged her significant contributions to the growth and development of journalism, stemming from her extensive experience in various reputable media organizations leading to her current appointment.
Furthermore, he emphasized that journalists, particularly women, would continue to benefit from Aisha Wakaso’s wealth of knowledge through her educational and health awareness initiatives.
He encouraged her to persist in her dedication to promoting the ideals of journalism and championing the causes of women and children in the state.
