Niger State Liquor Licensing Board Closes Kpakomana Hotel for Violating Alcohol Regulations.
The Niger State Liquor Licensing Board has officially closed Kpakomana Hotel located in Esso, within the Bida local government area, due to non-compliance with the regulations governing the sale and consumption of alcohol.
Following directives from the Director General of the Board, Barr Yahaya Halidu, the decision was made after receiving multiple complaints from the local community and the traditional ruler regarding disturbances and inappropriate activities linked to the hotel.
Director General Halidu instructed the Executive Director of Operations, Mohammed Hamisu, and the Taskforce members to seal the hotel until further notice.
In light of this closure, the public is advised against patronizing the establishment to avoid potential arrest by law enforcement officials in the area.
Furthermore, the hotel owner has been mandated to halt all nightclub activities and the sale of beer, failing which disciplinary actions may be taken.
The Director General also emphasized the importance of compliance among all beer vendors across the state, urging them to adhere to the regulations set forth by the Niger State Liquor Licensing Board for the responsible sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages.
