Farmer Governor Umaru Bago Receives Honorary Fellowship from Nigeria Institute of Architects

Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago,has been inducted as an Honorary Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA).
The investiture ceremony took place during a Gala and Awards Night organized by the Institute in Abuja.
Governor Bago described his induction as an opportunity to better serve humanity, stating that “to whom much is given, much is expected.” He expressed gratitude to the NIA for deeming him worthy of the honor and pledged to uphold its integrity to ensure further success.
The Farmer Governor was honored alongside former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and Dr. Abbas Tajudeen, the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
In her remarks, the President of the NIA, Arc. Mobolaji Adeniyi, stated that Governor Bago and the other honorees were carefully selected for this recognition due to their support for the Institute and their impactful contributions to humanity.
Following the investiture, both former President Jonathan and Speaker Tajudeen expressed their appreciation to the NIA for the honor and affirmed their commitment to partnering with the Institute for efficient and effective service delivery.
Additionally, the National Association of Architecture Students presented an Award of Excellence to Governor Bago in recognition of his remarkable dedication and inspiring leadership to the younger generation.
The event also included an oath-taking ceremony, as well as the presentation of certificates and plaques to the honorees. Several members of the State Executive Council were in attendance, including the Secretary to the State Government, Abubakar Usman, the Deputy Chief of Staff, Commissioners, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries, friends, and well-wishers.
