Senator Natasha Shuts Down Kogi State, Distributes Grains to Constituents.

By Our Reporter

Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, the lawmaker representing Kogi Central Senatorial District, recently distributed grains to her constituents to help alleviate their food purchasing burden during the Ramadan season.

According to a press statement issued on Sunday by her Chief Press Secretary, Israel Arogbonlo, the distribution included 1,200 bags of beans and 1,200 bags of millet. These items were provided to the people of Kogi Central regardless of their political affiliation.

During the distribution program held at her residence in Okehi Local Government, former House of Representatives member Hon. Abdulrahman Badamasiu noted that the distribution had been delayed due to recent distractions.

He explained that the initiative covers all 57 wards in the district, targeting religious organizations, market women, forums, and party supporters.

Badamasiu urged constituents to pray for Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan, especially during the last ten days of Ramadan fasting.

He emphasized that the Senator’s suspension does not diminish her mandate as a duly elected representative in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, highlighting that she has made significant contributions and performed admirably during her first year in office.

He assured the community that the lawmaker will continue her empowerment programs and training initiatives to help constituents become self-employed.

“In the coming week, a select group of constituents will receive training in various skills and be empowered as part of Senator Natasha’s vision to create employment opportunities for her people,” he stated.
