In a heartfelt message to Muslims, former Commissioner of Finance, Hon. Usman Muhammad Tinau has congratulated Governor Muhammed Umaru Bago on receiving the prestigious Best Governor in Agriculture awarded by the Sun newspapers in recognition of his administration’s commitment to revitalizing agriculture as a key driver of economic growth and food security.
He also emphasized the importance of embracing the sacred month of Ramadan as a time for fostering peace and supporting the less fortunate.
Hon. Usman Tinau urged Muslims to engage in deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and acts of kindness during this holy month.
He extended his warmest greetings to all observing the sacred rites of fasting, prayer.
“Ramadan serves as a powerful reminder of our shared values of compassion, justice, and unity—principles essential to strengthening our communities and upholding the rule of law,” he remarked.
He called upon Muslims to embody the true essence of Ramadan by promoting peace and extending assistance to those in need.
