Niger State Scholarship Board to close Portal for 2025 Scholarship Registration.

The Niger State Scholarship Board will close its registration portal for the 2025 scholarship bursary disbursement registration on Friday, February 14, 2025.
During a press briefing at the board’s headquarter in Minna, the state Commissioner for the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Abdullahi Adamu Mamagi, made this announcement.
The Niger State Scholarship Board is responsible for disbursing bursaries to the indigenous Students of Niger State who are studying in various tertiary institutions both in Nigeria and abroad.
The Commissioner disclosed that a total of 24,107 students have successfully registered on the portal, with 15,400 males and 8,707 females who have enrolled in various tertiary institutions across the country.
He emphasized that his ministry is collaborating with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy to ensure the smooth operation of the portal.
Additionally, Amina Fatima Ibrahim, the North Central Coordinator of the National Scholarship Board of the Federal Ministry of Education, provided an overview of their activities, including the disbursement of scholarships.
The briefing concluded with questions and responses from stakeholders.
