President’s Wife Extends Support to Dikko Tanker Explosion Victims.

In a compassionate gesture, the Wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has generously donated N100 million to assist the victims of the recent Dikko tanker explosion.
Accompanied by the Wife of the Vice President, Hajiya Nana Kashim Shetima, the donation was made during a private visit to the Niger State Government House in Minna.
Senator Tinubu expressed her sorrow over the tragedy and emphasized that the donation aims to complement the efforts of the state government in providing relief to those affected.
During her remarks, she commended Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago for his commendable contributions to the development of agriculture in the state, affirming his alignment with the President’s vision.
In response, Governor Bago expressed gratitude for the support of the First Lady, highlighting the positive impact of her visit on fostering relations between the federal and state governments under the Renewed Hope agenda.
The occasion also saw recognition from the Etsu Nupe, representing the Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, who praised Senator Tinubu’s ongoing efforts to uplift orphans, women, and the underprivileged in the society.
The visit also included stops at the residences of former Nigerian leaders, Generals Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar, who both acknowledged the impactful initiatives led by the First Lady in support of various vulnerable groups across the country.
