Governor Umaru Bago Sworn in New Katcha Council Chairman, Call for peace, Unity in the LGA.

Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, also known as the Farmer Governor, has sworn in the new Council Chairman of Katcha Local Government,Hon.Zubairu Mohammed Essan.
Governor Umaru Bago presided over the swearing-in ceremony, during which Senior Magistrate Court 7, Halima Yusuf, administered the oath of office and allegiance to the new Council Chairman.
He urged the new Katcha Local Government Council Chairman to be committed to fostering unity and peace within the council.
The Governor congratulated the new Chairman and promised to support him in his efforts to succeed, while also calling on the people of Katcha to cooperate with the Chairman for their collective benefit.
In an interview, the new Katcha Council Chairman, Hon. Zubairu Mohammed Essan, pledged to work diligently to ensure peace that would promote unprecedented development in the area.
Hon. Zubairu Mohammed Essan previously served as the Vice Chairman under the late Danlami Saku, who tragically passed away on December 10, 2024, in a car accident while traveling to Abuja.
