Kwara State Gov. Abdulrazaq Celebrates Thisday Newspaper 30 Years of Excellence in Journalism.
Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq has extended heartfelt congratulations to Thisday Newspapers on its momentous 30th anniversary, celebrated on January 22, 2025.
In his commendation, the Governor recognized Thisday’s significant contributions to the media landscape, highlighting its courageous reporting on critical political, economic, and social issues.
He praised the leadership and creativity of the publisher, Mr. Nduka Obaigbena, alongside his editorial board and the dedicated team of journalists and staff.
“I encourage them to continue their journey as a leading force in the media sector, not only in Nigeria but across Africa,” the Governor stated.
He expressed his hope for Thisday’s continued success and its vital role in promoting democracy and national development.
