The Emir of Kagara, Mallam Ahamed Garba Gunna, Attahiru II, has extended his condolences to the Niger State Governor, Umar Mohammed Bago, the Emir of Suleja, Mallam Awwal Ibrahim, and the entire people of Niger State following the tragic tanker explosion that claimed multiple lives at Dikko Junction on the Abuja-Kaduna Expressway.
The Emir expressed his deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives and emphasized the urgent need for safety measures to prevent such tragic incidents in the future.
In a statement made available to journalists by Kaigaman Kagara, Alhaji Abullahi Garba Asab, the Emir described the incident as shocking and expressed his heartbreak, concern, and dismay over the event.
He called on the relevant authorities to enhance road safety protocols to avert similar occurrences in the future. Additionally, he encouraged the community to support one another during this difficult time and remain resilient in the face of adversity.
Mallam Ahamed Garba Gunna urged all Nigerlites to come together in solidarity, offering prayers and assistance to those affected by the tragedy.
He prayed for the injured to have a swift recovery and for God to forgive the souls of the departed and grant them eternal peace.
The Royal Father commended Governor Umar Bago for his proactive response in visiting the scene of the incident, where he imposed a ban on heavy trucks from using one lane through Dikko Bridge and deployed a medical team from Minna to Suleja.
Mallam Ahamed Garba Gunna specifically sympathized with the families of the victims, the government, and the people of Niger State.
