Tanker Explosion: CAN Extends Condolences to Governor Bago and Victims’ Families

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Niger State chapter, expressed its heartfelt condolences to Governor Umaru Bago and the people of Niger State following the tragic tanker explosion that occurred at Dikko Junction on the Abuja-Kaduna expressway on Saturday, resulting in the loss of multiple lives.
In a statement released on Sunday, Most Rev. Dr. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna, Chairman of the Niger State Chapter of CAN and Catholic Bishop of the Kontagora Diocese, conveyed solidarity with the governor and the state during this challenging time.
“We are deeply saddened by this devastating incident and stand in solidarity with the state government as we navigate through this crisis,” Bishop Yohanna stated.
“This explosion is a cause for great concern, and we extend our sympathies to the governor and the families affected by this tragedy.”
Bishop Yohanna offered prayers for the eternal repose of the deceased and for the swift recovery of the injured.
He also commended the government’s prompt response to the emergency and their support for the victims’ families and those still receiving medical care.
