Niger State Government to Construct Roads from Mararaban Dandaudu to Gwada and from Gwada to Kuta

The Niger State government has announced plans to construct roads from Mararaban Dandaudu to Gwada and from Gwada to Kuta in the Shiroro Local Government Area of the state.
Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago, often referred to as the “farmer Governor,” made this announcement while addressing members of the Gwada community as part of his statewide project monitoring initiatives.
He emphasized that the completion of these road projects would facilitate movement and enhance socio-economic activities in the surrounding areas.
Additionally, the governor revealed that he had discussions with the Emir of Minna, Alhaji Umar Farouk Bahago, regarding land for the construction of new houses to create cities for displaced people from Alawa, Erena, Kurebe, and other affected communities. He assured those who wish to return to their ancestral homes that they may do so if security conditions improve.
Governor Bago also announced the establishment of an ultramodern market and a general hospital to serve the growing population of the Gwada community.
He urged the community members to remain patient and understanding with the government as efforts are being made to ensure their safety and well-being.
At the gathering, Senator Mohammed Sani Musa, representing the Niger East Senatorial District, expressed support for the initiatives of Governor Bago, highlighting the administration’s commitment to the people’s welfare.
Prof. James Galadima commended the governor for his people-oriented projects across the state and appealed for the provision of clean water and the completion of the road near Doma-Busu Hospital, which was initiated in 2017.
