Niger State Governor, farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago has instructed vehicle owners to desist from parking their vehicles on the road.
The farmer Governor gave the instruction when he stopped over in Lambata Weekly Market on his way to Minna to create awareness among motorists about proper parking practices to ensure better traffic flow and promote road safety.
Farmer Governor Umaru Bago, who observed that many vehicles were parked on the road, creating unnecessary congestion on the Minna-Suleja road, said such practice constitutes a nuisance to the environment.
He urged them to park on the shoulder of a road rather than on the inner lane of a highway to prevent accidents.
