Farmer Gov Umaru Bago Approves Construction of 44 km Road from Lemu to Kateregi Under RAMP Project.

Niger State Governor, Farmer Mohammed Umaru Bago, has approved the construction of a 44 km road extending from Lemu, the headquarters of Gbako Local Government Area, to Kateregi Community in Katcha Local Government Area.
Governor Bago made this announcement in Lemu while addressing the community.
He explained that the project will be executed under the Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP). Once completed, this road will facilitate easier transportation of farm produce to markets and improve access to essential services.
Additionally, the Governor stated that the State Government, through Niger Foods, intends to establish farms on both sides of the road as part of its efforts to contribute to national food production.
He emphasized his administration’s commitment to realizing the food security agenda outlined by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
