Governor Bago Issues One-Week Ultimatum to Contractor Handling 5 km Township Road in Magama LGA.

Niger State Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has given a one-week ultimatum to the contractor responsible for the 5 km township road project in Ibeto, Magama Local Government Area, to return to the site or face termination of the contract.
Governor Bago made this announcement during an inspection of the project as part of his statewide monitoring tour to evaluate its progress.
He expressed disappointment with both the quality and pace of work in Ibeto, emphasizing that his administration will not tolerate any compromises from contractors.
During the inspection, Governor Bago noted that the 5 km township road project, intended for Ibeto, has been disrupted across four communities.
He also conveyed his dissatisfaction to the stakeholders of Magama Local Government Area regarding this situation and instructed the contractor to prioritize the completion of the road project in Ibeto.
The governor indicated that other communities would be considered for similar projects in the future
