Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago, extends his unequivocal congratulations to Alh. Adamu Yakatun on his appointment as the new Chairman of the Imams Forum of Niger State.
In a decisive message issued through his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, Governor Bago emphasizes that Yakatun’s rise to this prominent position marks a significant advancement for the Muslim community in our state.
The Governor expresses unwavering confidence that the new Chairman will not only continue the tireless efforts of his esteemed predecessor, the late Ibrahim Isah Fari but will also strengthen the unity of the Muslim Ummah and fervently promote the cause of Allah.
Governor Bago expects Alh. Adamu Yakatun is an exemplary leader who will proactively advocate for peace within all segments of the community.
He firmly urges all members of the Forum to rally behind the new Chairman, ensuring collective support to realize and uphold the core values of the organization.
Alh. Adamu Yakatun’s appointment as the new Chairman of the Imams Forum is a unanimous and resolute decision made by the Forum’s Executive members during a meeting held in Bida. Before this role, Yakatun served with distinction as the Chief Imam of Bida, succeeding the late Mal. Ibrahim Isah Fari.
