World Teachers Day : Niger Gov. Bago urged to prioritize education.-Danjuma Masu.
Government’s at all levels have been urged to prioritise the welfare of teachers who are the key elements of the education sector.
The call was made by Honourable Danjuma Masu, in a goodwill message to mark this year’s World Teachers Day.
Honourable Danjuma Masu,stressed that, the sacrifices made by members of the Teaching profession in nurturing and moulding our Children to become better citizens, is deserving of being appreciated and rewarded.
Danjuma Masu,who is also a stakeholder in the Educational development of Chanchaga local government,appealed to government to look at ways and modalities of providing classroom furniture,and teaching aids to pupils and teachers.
He commended the Administration of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umar Bago, for his committed efforts to revamp our education sector.
He then called on Nigerian Union of Teachers in the state, and particularly Teachers in Chanchaga local government, to continue to partner and support the Bago led administration in the state in her efforts aimed at changing the narrative of the education sector for the better.
Honourable Danjuma Masu,while wishing Teachers a memorable World Teachers day, enjoined teachers particularly in Chanchaga local government, to be more committed to their jobs,and rededicate themselves to a more rewarding profession.
