NBA Minna Branch inaugurates New Executives,to Key into New Niger Agenda.
The newly inaugurated executives of the Nigeria Bar Association, Minna branch has said it will support all the people oriented and community driven policies of the government of Niger state under the leadership of the farmer Governor RT Umar Mohammed Bago.
The New Chairman of NBA, Minna Branch, Isyaku Barau ESQ in his inaugural speech which took place at the High Court complex Minna recently, commended the ongoing Urban Renewal programs, particularly the agricultural revolution of Governor Umar Bago.
Barau Esq applauds the Governor’s success in addressing the issue of insecurity in the state and urge the government to sustain the efforts,adding that NBA Minna Branch will continue to collaborate with the state in all areas of it’s developmental programmes.
He used the forum to call upon Farmer Governor Umar Bago to ensure full financial independence of the Judiciary in the state, according to him it will foster a more egalitarian and society free from crime.
He further commended the outgoing Chairman of NBA Minna Branch , Mr A. M. Waziri, and his team, “I want to stressed categorically here that they have performed credibly well during their tenure”, I assure you that we will consolidate and build on their successes, as well as those of all past administrations.
He also use the forum to express his deepest gratitude to all members of Minna Branch for their unwavering support and commitment, adding that,together, they will write the next chapter in the story book of the Nigeria Bar Association, Minna Branch.
Earlier in his farewell speech,the outgoing Chairman, A..M. Waziri said during his tenure, they were able to introduce production and distribution of NBA diary for its members to keep record of court proceeding.
He said, his collaboration with the Chief Judge of Niger state for the reintroduction of the yearly, Legal year, initiative the outgoing Chairman said he is proud of.
He then called on the New Executive to build on the successes recorded and to be steadfast,commitment to the values that define the noble profession.
