Niger state Vigilante corps decorates Senior officer of the command.
Niger State Commander of the Vigilante Corps,Nasiru Mohammed Manta has decorated a senior officer of the command Alhaji Sule Butu who has just been promoted to the rank of Assistant state operations officer.
Decorating Alhaji Sule Butu the state commander, Nasiru Mohammed Manta charged the newly promoted officer to work toward achieving the said goals of the Vigilante Corps in the state.
The state vigilante Commander said the Command promoted him to his new rank because of his commitment and dedication in the discharge of his duties as galant vigilante officer.
Nasiru Mohammed Manta urged Alhaji Sule Butu to continue to discharge his functions inline with the mandate and constitution of the Vigilante Corps.
He advised all the officers and men of the Command in the state to continue to support and cooperate with Alhaji Sule Butu for him succeed in his new Assignment.
Nasiru Mohammed Manta appealed to the members of the Corps to rise up to the challenge and works towards fighting the enemies of our land who poised security threat to the state and the country as a whole.
The state commander of the Vigilante Corps acknowledged and appreciated the state Government under the albe leadership of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago for his continued support and cooperation to the Vigilante Corps and urged him not to relent.
Nasiru Manta also praised the officers and men of the Nigerian Police,the SSS and the Nigerian Army for their support in the fight against kidnapping and other criminal tendencies.
The state commander of the Vigilante Corps affirmed that with Alhaji Sule Butu now onboard kidnappers and other banditry acts will not have a place to stay in the state .
Responding,the newly promoted state Assistant Operations officer of the Command, Alhaji Sule Butu thanked the state commander of the Vigilante Corps, Alhaji Nasiru Mohammed Mantafor finding him worthy of the promotion and pledged his total loyalty and full respect to the Command.
He advised his members to desist from act of hypocracy,back bitting and rumour mongering amongst them pointing out that such negative acts will not help in line of duty.
Alhaji Sule Butu then assured the state commander of the Corps,Nasiru Mohammed Manta and the entire people of the state that Banditry, Kidnapping,cattle rustling and other criminal tendencies will be shown the way out of the state with the candid support and cooperation of the state Government and other security agents in the state.
The state Deputy commander of the Vigilante Corps, Alhaji Mohammadu Laga and the state Adviser of the command,Barde Cinnaka as well as other executives are among those who witnessed the decoration and presentation of appointment letter to Alhaji Sule Butu which held at the Command’s Headquarters in minna today.
