One year anniversary legislative team beats Executive by a lone goal.

As part of activities marking the first anniversary of Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago in Office, a novelty football match was played at the Bako Kontagora Stadium between the State Legislature and Executive football team.
The match, which was full of entertainment and humour saw the Legislative team beating its opponent by a goal to nothing to clinch victory.
The only goal of the match was scored by the member representing Borgu Constituency, Gambo Abdulrahman Bala in the first half of the encounter.
Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Binta Mamman as well as Special Adviser to the Governor on print Media, Aisha Wakaso were part of the Executive team.
Speaker, Niger State House of Assembly, Abdulmalik Sarkin Daji, captained the Legislative team while Commissioner for Justice Nasiru Mu’azu captained the Executive team.
Speaking shortly after the game, team Captain of the Executive team, Nasiru Mu’azu described the novelty match as an avenue to strengthen the already existing cordial relationship between the two arms of Government as they both strive towards making Niger State great.
