Niger State Dep. Gov. Felicitates Muslim Ummah, Urges them to instill the virtue s of love, Obedience and forgiveness.
Farmer Deputy Governor, Comrade Yakubu Garba of Niger State has extended warm felicitation to the entire Muslim Ummah on the occasion of this year’s Eid-el-fitr celebration.
In a Special Sallah message, released and signed by the Press secretary to the Deputy Governor, Ummikhaltume Abdullahi Kuta, The Deputy Governor, stressed the need for Muslim faithfuls across the state to always imbibe the virtues of Perseverance, Religious tolerance, and Peaceful Co-existence which He describes as the Hallmark of Islam.
Comrade Yakubu Garba also Emphasizes the significance and importance of Love, Obedience, and Sacrifice, which were exemplified by Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), Encouraged the Muslim community to reflect on the month of Ramadan and it’s teachings. Noting that The month of Ramadan teaches various important values, such as Sacrifice, Perseverance, Love, Tolerance, Steadfastness, Generosity, and Obedience to Allah, Urging them to learn from the lessons and incorporate them into their lives.
“On this joyous occasion of Eid-el-fitr, I Comrade Yakubu Garba, extend my warmest greetings and heartfelt felicitation to the people of Niger State and the entire Muslim Ummah. May this festive season bring us much Joy, Peace, and Blessings. As we come together to celebrate, let us reflect upon the profound teachings of the month of Ramadan. This sacred month teaches us priceless lessons on Love, Obedience, Sacrifice, Endurance, Tolerance, Steadfastness, and Generosity. It is time to embody these virtues in our daily lives and strive to be better people,” Yakubu Garba said.
Deputy Governor, Farmer Comrade Yakubu Garba, reiterated that the Government of Farmer Governor, Muhammad Umar Bago has rolled out and implemented the Ramadan feeding program that brings succour to the people, noting that the State Government has embarked on an ambitious program of interfacing with Council of Ulamas to preach Peace, and Unity among the diverse Multi-religion and Ethnic Groups in the State.
Furthermore, He calls upon Citizens to contribute to the development of the State and their respective communities and to key in to the New Niger Agenda of His Excellency, Governor Farmer Umar Mohammed Bago.
The Deputy Governor appealed to all communities in Niger state to uphold Peace and Harmony, despite the security challenges ravaging some communities. He urged all residents to remain Vigilant and Law-abiding as Security Agencies intensify Anti-bandits Operations to secure Communities within the state.
