Comrade Akayago Salutes Union Members for massive turnout during peacefull protest.

The Chairman, Nigeria Union Of Teachers NUT Niger State chapter, Comrade Adamu Mohammed Akayago, has applauded members of the Union for their unflinching support and cooperation during the two-day peacefull protest by the Nigeria Labour Congress in the state.
Comrade Adamu also applauded members of the union for their support and cooperation to the leadership of the union especially during the just concluded nation wide protest organized by the Nigeria Labour Congress, National Headquarters as a result of the current hardship, high cost of living, food stuff and security challenges in Nigeria..
In a press release signed and made available to Newsmen in Minna by the State Chairman, Comrade Akayago said the massive turnout of members was an indication of their support and loyalty to the leadership of the union and therefore emphasized that the leadership of the union in the state willl continue to ensure that it does not let it members down in all areas.
He assured them that the leadership under his watch will continue to dialogue with appropriate authority to better the welfare of the members in the state.
The state chairman said already the union was awaiting approvals for the sixty five years extension of year of Service for Teachers and the Inplimentation of the Teachers Salary Structure by the present administration of Farmer Governor Mohahmmed Umar Bago..
Comrade Akayago also reitereted his commitment towards fighting for the overall growth and development of NUT Niger State and called on the members to rededicate themselves to work in other to enhance the quality of education in the state…
