NIGER NLC EMBERKS ON A TWO DAY PEACEFUL PROTEST.

The Nigeria Labour Congress in Niger State have joined their counterpart in the Country to commence a Two days protest it declared over economic hardship and High cost of living in the country.
The decision to embark on the two days, Nationwide followed the expiration of a 14-day ultimatum issued to the Federal Government by the Unions to implement measures against the widespread hardship across.
The protest which started from Labour house IBB road terminates at the Niger State House of Assembly Complex Minna.
While at the House of Assembly Complex,the Speaker,Rt Hon. Abdul Malik Sarkin Daji lauded the NLC leadership for embarking on the peaceful protest and assured that their message would be deliver to the appropriate authorities.
Sarkin Daji also promised that the House of Assembly will table the NLC demands at the prenary .
The protest witnessed large turnout of all the affiliate unions in the state.
