Gov. Umaru Bago attends inauguration ceremony of Governor Diri of Bayelsa State.

Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State was among eminent personalities from within and outside Nigeria that attended the swearing-in ceremony of the Bayelsa State Governor, Sen. Douye Diri for his 2nd term in office.
The ceremony took place in the Bayelsa State Capital Yenagoa.
The Bayelsa State Chief Judge, Justice Matilda Abrakasa Ayemieye, administered the oath of office and allegiance on Governor Diri and his Deputy Sen. Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo
The event witnessed the presence of the Vice President of Nigeria Sen. Kashim Shettima, Vice President of the Republic of Liberia, Jeremiah Kpan Koung, former Presidents of Nigeria Olusegun Obasanjo and Dr Goodluck Ebele Johnathan as well as his wife Patience Johnathan.
Others are serving and former Governors, as well as serving and former lawmakers.
