Pray for elected, appointed leaders to reduce economic hardship on the people – Cleric urges colleagues.

The Resident Pastor House on the Rock Church Minna, Pastor PetRock Sadiq has lamented the harsh economic challenges confronting the people calling on his fellow religious leaders to pray for both elected and appointed leaders at the three tiers of government to come up with ways of reducing the situation.
Sadiq who stated this shortly after the service at headquarters, at Barkin-Saleh Minna said for the elected leaders to remain committed in their service to the people, there is the need for the religoius leaders to support them in prayers to serve the people effectively.. .
He noted, ” there is nothing God cannot do. I have the firm belief that though, the country is going through the most difficult situation, ‘Nigeria will rise again”
The Cleric who spoke through the Associate Pastor/Administrative Officer of the church, Pastor Fidi Nakozi also explained that the church had decided to raise a prophetic altar of prayer for the state and its leaders saying, ” This because ‘when we pray, God answers”.
According to him, ” the church has taken it as a responsibility to raise ‘Prophetic Altar’, for Niger state especially for the Governor Mohammed Umar Bago led administration l to succeed in delivering according to his electioneering campaign promises to the people “.

He added, ” Our duty and responsibility as religious leaders is to pray for our leaders to ensure that they succeed and for the citizens to be good and law abiding followers so that Nigeria will be better for all of us”.
