Etsu Nupe mourns late Ahmadu NITECO

Etsu Nupe mourns late Ahmadu NITECO

The Etsu Nupe and Chairman, Niger State Council of Traditional Rulers, Alhaji Yahaya Abubakar has  described the death of Alhaji Ahmed Mohammed, popularly called Ahmadu NITECO, the Turakin Nupe as shocking and a great loss to the Nupe kingdom.

According to Alhaji Abubakar, the deceased  was a great business tycoon, a good administrator and a successful business man who contributed immensely to the growth and development of the Nigeria.

According to Alhaji Abubakar, the death of the late Turaki Nupe is an irreplaceable loss which has created a wide vacuum, too difficult to fill.

Late Ahmadu NITECO, who was a businessman based in Lagos and also a Director with Vanguard Newspaper died after a potracted illness in Lagos was buried in his country hometown Bida, Niger State.

The Etsu Nupe said that the deceased had created positive precedence of mutual inter-relationship between the rich, the peasants, the old and the young,

The royal father further described the late Turaki Nupe as a humble gentleman who was incontestibly  known for fairness and justice.

Abubakar added that the deceased had shown genuine love to the people, irrespective of their tribes, as well as religious inclinations.

“In spite of these, he was also a Godly man who had the interest of his subjects at heart above any other thing,” Etsu Nupe said

He said that he was deeply touched when he received the sad news of the death of the  late Iconic and patriotic core businessman.

He added, “Though God has His reasons for taking him at this point in time, the people of the state had enjoyed his fatherly advice and he will be greatly missed.”

The Etsu Nupe, therefore, extended his heartfelt condolences to the immediate family of the late Turaki Nupe and his business associates, while he prayed the Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the deceased Aljannat Firdausi.

It could be recalled that Alhaji Baba Yahaya, Jakada Etsu Nupe represented the royal father during the Janaiza prayers held at Idil praying ground in Bida led by the Chief Imam of Nupe land, Sheikh Adamu Liman-Yakatun  on Friday.
