Hon. Mazakuka Presents Scholarship to Over 100 Students in Tertiary Institutions.

A Lawmaker representing mashegu Constituency in Niger State House of Assembly, Hon. Alhassan Isah Mazakuka has offered scholarship worths millions of naira to about 100 students studying in various tertiary institutions in the country.
The first official flag off of the presentation tag “Mazakuka scholarship Foundation” was held at Mashegu local government town Hall.
The lawmaker said the beneficiaries of the scholarship were choosen across the 10 wards of the constituency in which 10 students in each ward got fifty thousand naira (#50, 000.00 ).
Hon. Alhassan Isah mazakuka in his address at the occasion said the scholarship was offered to encourage students and to promote education in his constituents.
He stressed that more scholarship of second and third batch is underway and other benefits that will better the lots of his people in his constituency
Hon Mazakuka maintained that the initiative is to strengthen the level of education of their constituency and above, as no community can excel without education.
He further called on the beneficiaries to work hard in their educational pursuit and to be a good ambassadors of the community and Mashegu local government area in general.
Speaking at the occasion, the council chairman of mashegu local government, Hon Umar Jibrin Gede commended the initiatives put together by the lawmaker, said this will boast educational pursuit of their indigenous students especially at the grassroots level.
On his part,the state APC chairman, Alhaji Aminu Bobi said this is the first time they are witnessing a giant strides initiative from a Lawmaker from the constituency and called on other political office holders in the area to emulate him.
During the ceremony,the lawmaker, Hon Alhassan Isah mazakuka also presented undisclosed ammount of money to party executives, ward leaders, women leaders and various associations in the constituency.
