NCoS: NIGER STATE COMMAND DECORATES 41 NEWLY PROMOTED SENIOR OFFICERS:

In compliance with the CGCS directives to decorate newly promoted senior officers for the year 2023, the controller of Corrections, Niger State command, Mohammed Hamisu Isa fdc, Mphil, Msc, PhD has formally decorated 41 newly promoted senior officers with their various ranks on the 28th December, 2023.
The colourful ceremony which took place at the Federal Government Secretariat conference Hall, Minna had in attendance principal officers from the state command and other very important guests including professor Muhammed Yelwa of the university of Abuja.
In his remarks, the controller of Corrections, Niger State thanked the Honourable Minister of interior Dr. Olubunmi Tunji Ojo and the able Controller General of Correctional service, Haliru Nababa, FICMC, MFR, mni for graciously approving the elevation of over five thousand personnel. He said this will greatly motivate them to redouble their efforts to more effective and efficient service delivery.
Controller Hamisu on behalf of the CGCS congratulated the newly promoted officers and urged them to brace up for additional responsibility, hard, loyalty and selfless service to the nation. He further advised those who could not make it this time never to loose hope as according to him “promotion comes from Allah and that God’s time is always the best.
In their separate good will messages, Prof. Yelwa and the former Armsquad squadron commander in the state CSP rtd. Emmanuel Amadu implored the beneficiaries to rededicate themselves to duty and support the leadership of the service to realize the full mandate of the correctional service. adding that, to whom much is giving, much is expected. They prayed God to bless and guide them in their new ranks and responsibilities.
DCC Mohammed Riboci in a vote of thanks on behalf of the newly promoted senior officers applauded and thanked the Controller General of Corrections, Nigerian Correctional Service Haliru Nababa, FICMC, MFR, mni for finding them worthy of the promotion and promised never to dissappoint the confidence reposed on them.
In another separate development, the controller of corrections, Niger state command, Hamisu Isa fdc, used the occasion to present cheques issued by the CGCS to the next of kin of deceased officers who lost their lives in active service.
