NIGER SPIU ORGANIZES ORIENTATION EXERCISE FOR TECHNICAL OFFICERS UNDER AGILE.
The Niger State Project Implementation Unit for Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) yesterday organized a one-day orientation exercise for technical officers involved in the Community-Based Target (CBT) and Construction & Renovation exercises.
The event aimed to enhance their skills and knowledge in executing these crucial components of the AGILE initiative.
The orientation exercise was designed to equip technical officers with the necessary tools and strategies to effectively carry out their responsibilities. The event featured a series of interactive sessions and presentations by the lead components.
The orientation exercise also included sessions on project management, community mobilization, and the use of technology in monitoring and evaluation.
Technical officers were given hands-on training on various construction and renovation techniques to ensure the quality and sustainability of the infrastructure projects.
In her welcome address, the Coordinator of the SPIU Hajiya Maimuna Ibrahim Tahir, represented by the deputy Cordinator AGILE, Malam Salisu Danjuma, stated that the success of AGILE lies in the commitment and competence of the technical officers.
He said the orientation exercise is a stepping stone towards empowering them with the necessary skills to effectively implement the CBT and confident that they will be able to make a lasting impact on the lives of adolescent girls in our state.
The orientation exercise concluded with an interactive Q&A session and a pledge by the technical officers to apply the knowledge gained to their respective roles.
The SPIU AGILE expressed its commitment to providing continuous support and training opportunities to ensure the success of the initiative.
As the technical officers return to their respective communities, armed with new skills and knowledge, the AGILE initiative takes another step forward in its mission to empower adolescent girls and create a more inclusive and equal society.
