COMMISSIONER OF EDUCATION CONSTITUTES CWG TO FIND WAYS OF TRANSFORMING BASIC,SEC, EDUCATION IN NIGER STATE.

In a move to revolutionize the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education in Niger State, a Central Working Group has been set up to spearhead innovative and transformative changes in the sector.
The Group comprises experts and professionals from various fields of education with a mandate to address the existing challenges and improve on the quality of education in the State.
The Commissioner, Ministry of Basic and secondary Education, Dr. Hadiza Asabe Mohammed will serve as the chairman (CWG), and the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry Dr. Wasa Jonathan K is to serve as the secretary.
Dr. Hadiza Asabe Mohammed who is the Chairperson of the Group stated that the aim is to revolutionize the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education by implementing innovative solutions that would address the current challenges the sector is faced with.
The Commissioner stated that,her leadership is determined and committed in creating a transformative education system that would prepares Students for the demands of the 21st century.
The Commissioner said the body will leverage on the expertise of its members,to recognize the importance of technology integration in education.
She said the Group will harness the power of digital tools and platforms to create engaging and interactive learning environments, bridge the digital dividend and also provide equal access to quality education for all Students in the state.
