Niger State govt poised to provide effective training for it workforce.

The Niger State Government has said that it is poised to provide effective training to it’s workforce to propel the present administration’s Transformation Agenda.
The new Commissioner of Finance, Niger State, Lawal Maikano disclosed this while addressing the management and members of staff of Ministry of Finance on assumption of office.
Lawal Maikano who said change is constant, assured the staff that he would improve on the work of the Ministry so as to bring about a lot of progress to the Ministry and the State at large.
The Commissioner admonished the staff of the Ministry to accord respect to each other, work as a team and respect boundaries.
Lawal Maikano further pointed out that he would operate an open door policy and challenged them to accord him their maximum support and co-operation as well as commitment to their duty to enable him and Governor Mohammed Umar Bago change the narrative of the State.
He then expressed his profound gratitude to the management and staff of the Ministry for the reception accorded him.
Speaking earlier, the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Finance, Ibrahim D Abubakar while introducing the new Commissioner to the staff of the Ministry said it is an honor to welcome the Commissioner to the Ministry as the helmsman.
The Permanent Secretary assured the Commissioner of the staff’s unalloyed support so as to enable him succeed.
The Permanent Secretary took the Commissioner round all the offices of the Ministry for familiarization.
