Politicians in Bosso LGA enjoined to embibe Spirit of Sportsmanship .
Political Office holders in Bosso local government area in Niger State have been called upon to use their appointment to improve the well-beings of the people.
They have also been charged to use their position to encourage the speedy development in the area.
Speaking with Journalists after a stakeholders meeting of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Bosso local government area in Maikunkele ,Saturday, the member of the state House of Assembly Arch. Abubakar Suleiman Gomna gave the charged.
He mentioned that they should see their appointment as a call to duty noting that they were carefully selected based on their contribution to the success of the party at the just concluded general election and their track record.
Arch Abubakar Gomna said their appointment is aimed at improving the lives of the people through the provision of social amenities that will have direct bearing on their well beings,hence the need for them to see the development of human resources as their constituency project.
He appeal to other party faithfuls and we’ll to do in the area to contribute more to the development of the area and to see their position as a call to duty stressing the need for them to put the interest of the people first above their personal interest.
He further enjoined them to always reach out to their people,to also feed them on the activities of the government this according to him, this will assist in building confidence on them and to acquaint them the government efforts in bringing social aminities close to them.
He then appeals to the people of the area to continue to maintain peace among themselves as one indivisible family and to ensure the speedy development of the area and the Party as a whole.
He called on the entire people of Bosso local government to continue to be law abiding,while assuring them of the present administration of Governor Umar Mohammed Bago preparedness to bring about rapid development to the area as part of the dividend of democracy.
Amongst those who attended the stakeholders meeting includes the former member representing Bosso constituency,Hon Malik Madaki Bosso,Hon Musa Bawa Bosso,Commissioner Nomiinee,Hon Mohammed SD Mambo and some prominent politicians in the local government area.
