Perm Sec Sought cooparation of Staff to achieve goals of the govt transformation Agenda.

Niger State Government has said that training and retraining of its workforce would be giving adequate attention it deserves for optimal performance and productivity.
The new Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Finance, Ibrahim D Abubakar disclosed this while meeting with management and staff of the Ministry on the assumption of office today.
The Permanent Secretary,Ibrahim D Abubakar said the meeting was to familiarize with the staff also pointed out that it is a new administration in the State, saying that much is expected from citizens and therefore sought the cooperation and collective responsibility of all in order to achieve its transformation Agenda.
He urged the staff of the Ministry to put their heads together and work as a team and also be innovative and creative so as to add value for money.
He then admonished the staff to shun rumour mongering and gossip assuring them of provision of a conducive working environment, while urging them to come to work early and close at official hours in order to achieve collective goals.
Responding on behalf of the management and staff of the Ministry, the Director Administration, Hajiya Asma’u Ladi Ishaq assured the Permanent Secretary of the staff’s commitment, cooperation, total support and dedication to duty.
Also speaking, the Director, Final Account of the Ministry, Abubakar Isah expressed appreciation as one of their own has been assigned to the Ministry as Permanent Secretary.
He added that lateness to work is due to the prevailing circumstances that is bedeviling the society, assuring that the Permanent Secretary would surely see a new dawn.
