Controller of Corrections,Niger Command Decorates Over 200 Officers
The Controller of Corrections, Niger state command, Salman Abdulkadir fsi, has today Tuesday, 20th June, 2023 decorates over two hundred (200) officers and men of the state at the command center, Federal Secretariat complex conference Hall in Minna.
The decorations which affects all category of Ranks and files witnessed the attendance of heads of sister security agencies, friends and family of the service.
In his speech at the event, the controller of Corrections in the state, Salman Abdulkadir fsi, described the number of personnel promoted as “unprecedented.”
The controller therefore, called on those promoted to reciprocate the magnanimity of the Controller General for finding them worthy to be elevated.
Salman further stated that, the current administration of the Nigerian correctional service under the able leadership of the CGCS, HALIRU NABABA, FICMC, MFR, mni would continue to give prioritize Human capacity building and motivational strategy to realize the full core mandate of the service to Reform, Rehabilitates and Reintegrates offenders of the law back to the society as a well behaved, law abiding and productive citizens.
The Controller therefore, charged officers and men under his watch to key into the policy trust of the CG. with maximum support and cooperation so as to achieve the overall objective of the organization.
He added that those who were not previledge to be promoted,never to “despair but put their trust in God Almighty.
In their separate remarks, the area custom controller Niger/Kogi command, A.O. Kadejo and his counterparts from the sister agencies that includes the DSS, NSCDC,NIS, FRSC, FEDERAL FIRE AND the state coordinator legal aid council, advised the newly promoted officers and men to exibit and display high level of discipline and loyalty to the service of Nigerian correctional service and our Father Land.
In a vote of thanks on behalf of those promoted and decorated, the officer in charge of kontagora security Correctional centre,DCC. Mohammed M. Maska expressed appreciation and gratitude to Allah and the CG for providing the previlege for them to contribute their qouta towards achieving the core mandate of the Nigerian correctional service.
