All Progressives Congress, APC, Jos North /North State Constituency has called on the National Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the good people of Jos North Local Government Area to respect the outcome of primary elections that produced Dr .Hon.Aliyu Adamu as the flag bearer.
in a communiqué made available signed by Hassan Seeid (Mallam Q)Chairman, Angwan Rogo/Rimi Action Youths Development Forum urged the leadership of the APC in the State and NWC to respect the mandate of the people .
“We have called you here today to address a matter of urgent public importance regarding the political stability of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the electoral prospects of Jos North Local Government Area in the buildup to the 2027 general elections.
“As you are well aware, Hon. Dr. Adamu Aliyu is a foundational pillar and a formidable stronghold for the APC in Jos North LGA. His gigantic electoral value and grassroots connection cannot be ignored by any serious political entity aiming for success”,the statement read.
According to him, the recent primary elections, the people of the Jos North-North constituency spoke loudly and clearly. Hon. Dr. Adamu Aliyu emerged as the legitimate and overwhelming winner of the APC primary, validating his position as the most accepted candidate for the ballot.
He stated that beyond his political pedigree, Hon. Aliyu has consistently championed the welfare of his constituents and also embarked on numerous impactful projects that directly touch the lives of the people, ranging from social infrastructure to youth empowerment and economic development.
Furthermore, he has practically sponsored many party activities with his personal earnings, solely to attract massive support, unity, and visibility for the APC in Jos North-North. His dedication and financial sacrifices have yielded undeniable results.
Hassan stressed that because of these direct, life-changing interventions, the constituents of Jos North are eager to pay him back with their unalloyed loyalty and votes in the 2027 general elections.
However, we have watched with dismay recent rumors and machinations by a few elements attempting to alter the will of the majority party members. We want to state unequivocally that if the APC leadership is serious about winning elections, the candidacy of Hon. Dr. Adamu Aliyu must not be tampered with. To guarantee outright victory for the party in Jos North LGA, his name must remain on the ballot.
The statement warned that any attempt to substitute him or subvert the clear mandate given to him by the people will spell disaster for the party’s fortunes in the constituency.
We, therefore, make a passionate appeal to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress
1. Maintain the Mandate: We urge the party leadership to temper justice with mercy and ensure that Hon. Dr. Adamu Aliyu’s candidature is fully maintained and protected.
2. Avoid Vendetta: We call on all stakeholders to avoid any form of political vendetta or foul play. Personal grievances should not be allowed to override the collective interest and victory of the party.
3. Focus on Victory: The time for political bickering is over. The party leadership must concentrate its energy, resources, and unity on securing total victory for the APC in the upcoming elections.
In conclusion, the Progressive Support Groups remain firmly committed to the ideals of the APC. We stand solidly behind Hon. Dr. Adamu Aliyu, and we urge the party hierarchy to respect the voice of the people of Jos North-North Constituency.
