GOVERNOR SANI BELLO COMMISERATES WITH THE PEOPLE OF KAFIN-KORO

His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Niger State (DR) Abubakar Sadiq Sani Bello has condemned in its entirely the rude and shocking killing of very Rev. Fr. Isaac Achi, who until his death was the Parish Priest of SS Peter and Paul, Kafin-koro, who was burnt to death by Unknown gun men and the entire Parish house burnt down by fire in the early hours of yesterday the 15th of January. 2023.

In a Press Statement signed and made available to Journalist’s in Minna by the Hon. Commissioner of Information and Strategy,Dr Emmanuel U.Musa said that the Governor is saddened with this unfortunate incident.

 

He condoles the entire Christian Community in the State, particularly his lordship, Rev Dr. Martin Uzonkwu and his Auxiliary, Bishop Shuster Gropep over the killing of one of the state’s indigenous and dedicated priest and shooting of his assistant, Rev. Fr. Collins Omeh, all of the Kafin-Koro deanery.

He therefore directed all the security agencies to fish out the perpetrators of this dastardly act and bring them to book.On behalf of the good people of Niger State and entire members of the Executive Council, the governor prays that this ugly incident will not be repeated again.

He Urged the people of Kafin-koro and the entire parishioner of the Church to be calm and allow the appropriate security agencies to continue to search for the killers.
