Gov. Umar Bago mourns the demise of Ubandoma Minna.
Farmer Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago of Niger State has commiserated with the Emir of Minna, Alh. Umar Farouq Bahago and the entire people of Minna Emirate over the death of Alh. Umaru Usman, the Ubandoman Minna.
In a condolence message by his Chief Press Secretary Bologi Ibrahim, the Farmer Governor described the death of Ubandoman Minna as a great loss to the Emirate and the entire State.
He recalled the contributions, commitment and selflessness of the deceased to the growth and development of State in particular and Northern Nigeria in general.
The Farmer Governor acknowledged that the wise counsel of the Ubandoman Minna will be greatly missed.
While sympathizing with the Emir of Minna Alh. Umar Farouq Bahago, and the family of the Ubandoman Minna, the Farmer Governor prayed to Allah to forgive all the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljannah Firdausi as well as comfort all those affected by the death.
Late Alh. Umaru Usman Ubandoman Minna was born on the 5th of January, 1937.
He started his education at the Gwari/Kamuku Native Authority Primary School Minna, and later proceeded to Senior Boarding Primary School also in Minna then to Niger Provincial Secondary School, Bida.
Late Usman Ubandoman Minna made positive impact at the various places he worked starting from the Northern Nigeria, North Western State and Niger State.
He retired in 1992 from the Rural Electrification Board.
The deceased was also appointed as the sole Administrator of Chanchaga Local Government, and deeply involved in religious and traditional activities which earned him the Ubandoma in Minna Emirate Council.
