Niger state Governor Mohammed Umaru Bago has reaffirm his administration support to education as the top most priority for greater Niger.
The Governor stated this at the commissioning of the faculty of law complex through the commissioner of tertairy education Hon. Abdullahi Mammagi at the Newgate university minna on Friday.
The Governor said that the university as a private institution will continue to stand as a beacon for scholars education fostering a culture of acquiring knowledge and ethical values.
Earlier, In his remarks the PRO – chancellor of Newgate university minna Hassa Nuhu said tha the facility is aimed at providing students and scholars with a conducive environment for learning and molding them to upload the legacy of those who are gathered today.
Hassan Nuhu emphasize the need of noting this achievement of the university stands on the shoulders of those who came before us.
“Their impact of their legacy will resonate not only within the walls of the buildings but will extend far beyond, shaping the minds and aspirations of countless individuals”.
The PRO chancellor commended the effort of the late family justice Lebgo Kutigi ,saying the legal excellence serves as an inspiration for all of us and generation to come.
Speaking on behalf of late Hon justice Legbo Kutigi family Hon. Justice Mohammed Baba Idris said that their aim is targeted at the passion their late father had for law, justice and the pursuit of knowledge.
According, this books carefully selected are our way of investing in future of legal education where research and ideas will flourish”.
He thereby expressed his profound gratitude to the university as it named the library under the faculty of law after their father Late Hon. Justice Legbo Kutigi .
